    • 1.1 Performer corner reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take immediate affect and will be applicable to everyone that has and still will accept the terms and conditions.

  2. Performer Corner services
    • 2.1 Performer Corner provides a service whereby artists and the arts industry and what or whomever that includes, has a platform (gateway) to get in contact with each other.
    • 2.2 Performer Corner Pre-screens all organizations on the website before they are approved to join and then market whatever they have to offer, to the artists on this website.
    • 2.3 In joining the performer corner.com website, you acknowledge that your details, pictures, audio and any other publication services you choose to use will be made public and will be accessible by the public limiting non registered organizations contact information to the performer directly and directing this contacting through performer corner for screening of the organizations intentions and legitimacy.
    • 2.4 Performer Corner is not responsible for the content and the accuracy thereof either by the artists or the organizations.
  3. Publications
    • 3.1By posting any advertisement of any kind for any event on this website, the organization or individual
      acknowledges that everything around this publication is legal and falls within the lawful requirements of
      South Africa.
    • 3.2 Performer corner reserves the right to remove any publication of any sort at its own discretion from the
      website at any time if the content is not legitimate or is required by authority to do so.
  4. Content
    • 4.1 No explicit content will be allowed on the website. No pornographic images or video material will be allowed
    • 4.2 No inappropriate language will be allowed in writing or recording.
    • 4.3 Performer Corner reserves the right to without any warning and at no financial refund, block a user due to inappropriate material found on his/her profile.
    • 4.4 Performer Corner reserves the right to implement a fine to any user not obeying these rules.
    • 4.5 No content exceeding the time or quantity limit will be allowed on the website.
    • 4.6 No user can display any other person’s talents or events on their profile accept their own.
    • 4.7 Users are not allowed to display contact details of any sort in any other part of their profile than the place provided for it. If a client does this, Performer Corner cannot be held liable for any fraud or any other consequence thereof.
    • 4.8 Performer Corner cannot be held liable for any person’s misconduct or misuse of the website.
    • 4.9 Performer corner cannot be held liable for any inconvenience caused by any user of the website to another user.
    • 4.10 Performer Corner will however react on any report against any user on the website.
    • 4.11 Any false report against another user for any reason will result in a fine towards the person that made the false report.
    • 4.12 Although it is the aim of Performer Corner to keep every client safe from fraud and any other dangers, performer corner cannot be held liable for any fraud or damage to any client of the website.
    • 4.13 All content posted by you must fall within the requirements and limitations of the South African law at all times.
    • 4.14 All information posted by you needs to be true and updated at all times.
  5. Finances – NOTE: If you register today, your profile will only be published after your first payment or your signed debit order form has been received by our offices.
    • 5.1 Clients can give a month notice for ending of their account with performer corner.
    • 5.2 When notice is given in the middle of a month, the end of the month’s payment will still be due and the contract will end within the end of the next month. In other words, 30 day notice.
    • 5.3 If a client paid the full year fee and would like to terminate their contract, the amount of months including the month of notice will be deducted from the year fee and the balance will be paid back to the client. Deducting banking fees.
    • 5.4 Price changes can be made at any time and will be applicable to any new subscriber from that point onwards.
  6. Liability
    • 6.1 You agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, any and all liability and responsibility of performer corner to you or any other person under or in connection with these terms and conditions, or in connection with the services, this web site , another member’s acts or omissions, or you ruse of or inability to use, their services or this web site is excluded regardless of whether such liability arises in contract, tort (including negligence), equity, breach of statutory duty or otherwise. Performer corner’s liability and responsibility is excluded in respect of any and all loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, including without limitation, loss of profits, loss of date, loss of business or anticipated savings, general and special damages, and consequential and incidental loss.
  7. Indemnity
    • 7.1 You agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnified performer corner from and against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses) losses, proceedings, damages, liabilities or demands suffered or incurred by us to any person arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
  8. Restriction of use
    • 8.1 You are not allowed to use this service if you have ever been convicted of a violent or sexually related criminal offence.
    • 8.2 You have previously been banned from using our services or are associated with someone who is banned from using our services.
    • 8.3 You are directly or indirectly involved in the operation of a company that competes with our services.
  9. Minors and the website
    • 9.1 This website is intended for all ages with the agreement that minors under the age of 18 years are at all times supervised by the legal guardian or parent of the child.
    • 9.2 All payments or other financial arrangements will only be conducted with the adult supervisor and may not be conducted at any time with a minor.
    • 9.3 When uploading data, the supervisor/parent must approve this and in uploading this, performer corner accepts the upload as being approved by the legal guardian.
    • 9.4 No Minor may publish their personal contact details on the website and is required to publish their legal guardian/parent’s contact details for communication purposes.
    • 9.5 Performer Corner cannot be held liable at any point for misconduct of these rules by a minor or a guardian/parent.

    • 10.1 Materials contained on this website are protected under copyright and other laws of South Africa. You are not permitted to use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce the name and logo of performer corner for any reason without our express written permission.
  11. Viruses and threats
    • 11.1 We try to keep our services and website virus and threat free although we do not guarantee that the service or materials that may be available on our website do not contain such destructive features. We shall not be liable for any damages of any sort or any loss of any sort due to such a destructive occurrence. You make use of this website and its content at your own risk.

    • 12.1 Our website may from time to time be offline or under some kind of repair or update process in which case it might be inaccessible. Performer corner cannot be held liable in these cases for any loss or damage or costs.
